We are a husband and wife team local to Las Vegas, Alberto is originally from Rio, Brazil and myself, Amanda grew up in Washington state. We started this company with a collapsible straw kit, as big travelers ourselves, we wanted to create something that was convenient enough to bring everywhere and begin to eliminate single-use plastic in our daily lives. For a lot of people, it starts with a straw (our kit also includes a spork!) and we LOVE working craft fairs, markets and events to get the opportunity to talk face to face with people about the importance of making simple swaps everyday and reduce our impact on the environment. It affects all of us.
We have expanded to include a large array of products (and we are growing!!) that simplify our lives and reduce plastic waste— especially with products we use everyday.
We are not experts at plastic-free & sustainable living and face the same challenges that everyone else does, but we are SO incredibly passionate about our Mother Earth, learning more, and educating those around us. We live the lifestyle as best we can and we are learning everyday. We donate to ocean conservation and other environmental organizations too- Let’s make some real change together!

Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We provide free shipping to over 200 countries around the world. However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to. If you happen to be located in one of those countries we will contact you.
What about customs?
We are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have been shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive to your country.

Do you provide tracking information?
Yes, you will receive an email once your order ships that contains your tracking information. If you haven’t received tracking info within 5 days, please contact us.
My tracking says “no information available at the moment”.
For some shipping companies, it takes 2-5 business days for the tracking information to update on the system. If your order was placed more than 5 business days ago and there is still no information on your tracking number, please contact us.
Will my items be sent in one package?
For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase will sometimes be sent in separate packages, even if you've specified combined shipping.

RETURNS
Order cancellation
All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
Refunds
Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, you can request a refund or reshipment for ordered products if:
- If you did not receive the product within the guaranteed time (45 days not including 1-3 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment.
- If you received the wrong item you can request a refund or a reshipment.
- If you do not want the product you’ve received you may request a refund but you must return the item at your expense and the item must be unused.
We do not issue the refund if:
- Your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (i.e. providing the wrong shipping address)
- Your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of homeandgarden.house (i.e. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).
- Other exceptional circumstances outside the control of homeandgarden.house.

I hate touching sponges or rags - basically anything that gets the gross dishwater smell. These are fantastic, great for scrubbing, and pretty sturdy. Some of the bristles have fallen out so I know it won't last as long as the plastic ones, but that's a small price to pay for it being biodegradable.
These wood brushes are very well made; they are sturdy, easy to handle and look cute. The bristles are fitted, meaning they are enough for the job. We use the soft bristles to wash vegetables and fruit and the hard ones to do dishes. Great product. Thanks for a good job
This is not only an attractive set but it works! I wanted to replace my plastic scrubbers, especially for cast iron. These scrubbers work well for pots and pans and the lighter coloured one scrubs vegetables really well.
I love the products, good quality and nice design. I am very happy that I don't need to buy sponges any more, to save our earth.

I adore these brushes.It fits perfectly into a press down soap dish I had already. Will repurchase again, but it probably won’t be for a while because I think these will last for a long time!
I’ve been using for quite some time now and it’s holding up pretty well! Quality is good. Its a hard transition from a regular sponge to these, but it’s worth investing for the sake of zero waste!
Based on the presentation alone 10/10 they feel sturdy and have a good weight to them. Not to mention they are aesthetically pleasing. They work great! The bristles are strong enough to get pans clean but not enough to scratch them, Thank you!
These are awesome!! They scrub so well! I was so pleasantly surprised. I will use one for veggies and the others for chores around the house and kitchen. Well made, fit well into your hand, bristles are stiff but flexible. I loved the little box it came in tied with the string. I highly recommend these little gems. You won't be disappointed.
Brushes are holding up well. Handle is wood, so it’s starting to crack a bit. This was expected and does not affect the performance of the brush at all.
I bought these as I'm switching away from non-biodegradable products and plastic. They work well and feel high quality. One brush is a softer option. The stiff brushes worked great on my ceramic Staub cookware. Really appreciate the plastic-free packaging too.
